16 roofs.
Filmed as we found them.

Dublin, Limerick, Galway, Cork, Kerry and Tipperary — each one filmed by the crew who did it, before the work started.

A finished roof looks exactly the same whether it was done properly or not, which is why a photograph of a finished roof proves so little. What decides the job is what was underneath: the state of the battens, whether the felt had gone, how far the water had already travelled, and whether the timber holding the gutter up was still timber. That is the part filmed here. Tap any job to read what was wrong with it and what we did about it.

Real Google reviews, carried across word for word — spelling, punctuation and all.

Nothing below has been rewritten, shortened or tidied up. A reworded review is an invented review, so what the customer typed is what appears. These are the 10 reviews published on this site; our Google Business Profiles across Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway hold more, and the quickest way to check any of them is to open Google and search our name rather than take this page's word for it.

We recently had Recommended Roofing replace the roof on our extension, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Gerry, the business owner, was professional, friendly, and personally ensured the work was completed to a very high standard. The workmanship was excellent—the new roof looks great and feels solid and well-built. Gerry and his team were approachable throughout the project, always happy to answer any questions we had. The job was completed within the expected timeframe, with no unnecessary delays. Once the work was finished, the team left the site clean and tidy, with no mess left behind. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. We highly recommend Gerry and the team at Recommended Roofing and would definitely use their services again.

For our Sunday's Well home I needed a last-minute replacement of leaking roof at the rear of a three-storey house. Recommended Roofing provided a prompt, fair estimate and — despite the wet weather — had a scaffold tower in place and the job finished in one day. The installers (David and one colleague) were efficient, courteous, and helpful throughout, and they left the site tidy, removing all waste. Very pleased with the quick response, the team, and the quality of the work. Highly recommended.

Really happy with service provided. They were extremely helpful and efficient from start to finish. An assessment and quote were provided the day after I first got in touch, and the repair was completed within a week. The issue and proposed solution were clearly explained, and I really appreciated that they recommended a proportionate repair rather than simply suggesting everything needed to be replaced. Very professional, straightforward and efficient service. Would definitely recommend!

From the very first point of contact with Gerry to the very end the service was top class . Gerry himself is a head of knowledge and just an all round great friendly guy . The 2 lads that did the work - replaced all the fascia , gutters and down pipes etc , worked solid , even in the heat wave and its wasn't a bother to them . I would / will recommend them to everyone . Gerry and the lads - Thank you so much , Denise and Alan Moghal- Baldoyle , Dublin

03 / Who Lets Us On Their Roof

Banks, councils
and a motorway toll plaza.

Homeowners are most of our work. These are the buildings where somebody else had to sign us off first.

A commercial or public-sector client cannot simply pick a roofer. Insurance limits, safety systems, method statements and financial standing all get checked before anyone goes near the building — so the names below are not testimonials, they are the result of somebody else doing the due diligence for you.

Two guarantees, and they are not the same thing. Every job carries a 10-year written workmanship guarantee. On top of that, every full roof replacement and every full gutter/roofline replacement carries our Lifetime Leak Guarantee — repairs and partial work, which carry the 10-year workmanship guarantee. We also produce a job-specific RAMS on request, our operatives are ticketed, and we work to main-contractor site rules where a site has them.

05 / Check It Yourself

Four places that
are not our website.

Anyone can write anything about themselves. These are the ones we do not control.

One thing we do not put on this page: a per-job price or a customer quote attached to a case study. We do not hold a signed-off line from the customer for those jobs, and an invented one reads exactly like a real one. When we start collecting them at the end of every job they will appear here, and not before. The Irish Roofing Price Guide covers what this work actually costs.
